O R D E R

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to declare the action of respondents in opening and continuing rowdy sheet against the petitioners as illegal and arbitrary. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that this court in similar facts and circumstances in W.P.No.4688 of 2012 dated 16.3.2017, relying on other judgments of this court, gave liberty to the petitioner therein to file explanation / representation within two weeks from the date of the said order and the competent authority was directed to examine the same and pass appropriate orders.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, does not dispute the same.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of the learned counsel, writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners' to file representations within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereupon the competent authority is directed to examine the said representations in the light of the law laid down by this court in W.P.No.4688 of 2012, which was disposed of on 16.03.2017 and in the judgments reported in SUNKARA SATYANARAYANA v. STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH1 and B.SATYANARAYANA REDDY v. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
