Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

The petitioners state that they have purchased an extent of Ac.13.08 gts., situated in Survey Nos.741 and 742 of Dokuru village, Devarakadra Mandal, Mahabubnagar district under a registered sale deed dated 23.05.2007 and they have been in possession of the said land. Out of the said land, an extent of Ac.0.10 gts., was already taken over under Rajeev Ettipotala Scheme-I. Apprehending that their land is going to be acquired further, the present Writ Petition is filed. This Court cannot interdict the exercise of power of eminent domain of the Government, but till action is taken under law the possession of the petitioners shall not be disturbed. In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents not to interfere with the land of the petitioners without following due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
