HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.31834 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioners complain inaction on the part of the Tahsildar, T.Narasapuram Mandal, West Godavari District, the 3rd respondent in considering their application, dated 23.06.2015, made under Form VI-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 (for short, 'the Act'). The grievance of the petitioners is that though their application is pending since 23.06.2015, the respondents are not taking any action in the matter. In view of the fact that the proceedings under Form VI-A of the Act are required to be considered in a time span of 45 days, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the petitioners' application and pass appropriate orders expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
