THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.29502 of 2018 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner in the present Writ Petition is the non-disposal of the appeal, dated 08.01.2018, filed by him against the Orders cancelling the orders of provisional licence. A perusal of the material available on record shows that the said appeal, filed by the petitioner, was received by the Office of the Commissioner on 08.01.2018 and the 2nd respondent has to consider the same and pass orders, in one way or the other, and cannot keep the appeal pending.

In view of the same, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition, directing the 2nd respondent to verify the appeal, dated 08.01.2018, filed by the petitioner herein and pass appropriate Orders, within a period of six weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order, strictly in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending consideration, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
