The National Insurance Company Limited, v. Bhanda Subhani
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SEETHARAMA MURTI CMA.No.1124 of 2009 JUDGMENT:
The learned counsel for the appellant submits that the matter has been settled out of Court and that an Award has been passed by the Lok Adalat Bench at Hyderabad.
Heard the learned counsel for the appellant and perused the Award. Though the learned counsel for the appellant did not appear before the Lok Adalat, the Deputy Manager of the National Insurance Company Ltd.,/appellant had appeared before the Lok Adalat and after the matter is amicably settled, the Adalat Bench presided over by a Chairman, who is a former Judge of this Court, had passed an Award. The identity and authority of the authorised representative, who had appeared before the Adalat, is not in dispute. In view of the above, the CMA is disposed of in terms of the Award of the Lok Adalat Bench at Hyderabad.
Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this appeal shall stand closed.
