ORDER

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.882 of 2014 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Mahabubnagar, registered for the offence under Section 498-A IPC and under Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, against the petitioners/A2 to A8, on various grounds. 2.

During hearing, learned counsel for petitioners requested to dispense with the appearance of petitioners before the Court below taking into consideration of their age etc.

This Court cannot exercise power under Section 205 of Cr.P.C., in a petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. However, liberty is given to the petitioners to file appropriate application before the Court below under Section 205 of Cr.P.C., or under Rule 37 of Criminal Rules of Practice, and on filing such application, the Court below is directed to dispose of the same within a week from the date of receipt of the application.
