According to the petitioner, her husband late M.Sikhamani died while he was working with the Respondent Corporation on 23.9.2011. Earlier, when she submitted a representation for appointment on compassionate grounds, the respondent authorities rejected the same on 19.11.2014 on the ground of lack of necessary requisite qualifications for the post applied for.

2. The application in W.P.M.P.No.51253 of 2015 is filed praying this Court to receive the additional affidavit and the documents enclosed therewith. In the said additional affidavit, it is stated that pending the writ petition, the petitioner herein has completed 10th Class qualification and submitted a representation on 14.7.2015 to the Respondents to consider her case for compassionate appointment. It is requested by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the said representation may be directed to be disposed of by the Respondents by fixing some time frame, in accordance with law and the said request is not opposed by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for Respondent-Corporation and submitted that the same would be considered, in accordance with law.

3. For the aforesaid reasons, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the Respondents to take appropriate action on the representation dated 14.7.2015 said to have been submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
