Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

Aggrieved by the action of the respondents in demanding additional consumption deposit from the petitioner, the present writ petition is filed. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents that the subject matter of this writ petition is squarely covered by a common order of this Court in W.P.No.37713 of 2014 and

batch dated 26.08.2015. In the said order, it was directed that the petitioners shall pay half of the additional consumption deposit amount demanded by the respondents. But, in the instant case, the petitioner paid less than half of the additional consumption deposit i.e. Rs.6,00,000/- before 01.06.2015. After adjustment of the existing deposit of Rs.6,00,000/- the remaining balance of 50% demanded amount has to be paid by the petitioner. In the circumstances, this writ petition is also disposed of in accordance with and in terms of the order in W.P.No.37713 of 2014 and batch dated 26.08.2015. The petitioner is directed to deposit the remaining balance of 50% demanded amount after adjustment of the existing deposit of Rs.6,00,000/-.
