HON'BLE SMT JUSTICE ANIS CRIMINAL M.P. NOs.15947 & 15948 OF 2016 IN/AND CRIMINAL PETITION No.14126 OF 2016 COMMON ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/A.1 to A.5 under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.51 of 2016 on the file of Central Crime Station, Hyderabad, which was registered under Sections 420, 406, 342, 506 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short 'IPC').

2. The petitioners and the 2nd respondent/de facto complainant are present. They produced Aadhar Cards issued by the Government of India, which show their identity. They were also identified by their counsel. They filed a compromise petition, wherein they stated that they have amicably settled the matter. The 2nd respondent/ de facto complainant voluntarily stated that he has no objection to quash the proceedings against the petitioners. 3.

The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 420, 406, 342 and 506 IPC, out of which Sections 420 and 406 shall be compounded with the permission of the Court. 4.

In view of compromise, the chance of conviction is bleak and remote. Therefore, in view of the fact that the matter has been amicably settled and the offences

punishable are compoundable, there is no impediment to quash the proceedings against the petitioners. 5.

Accordingly, Crl.M.P.NOs.15947 of 2016 and 15948 of 2016 are ordered. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed, quashing the proceedings against the petitioners/A.1 to A.5 in Crime No.51 of 2016 on the file of Central Crime Station, Hyderabad, Hyderabad.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
