24.4.2023 Dr.CSL, J I.A.No.1 of 2023 This interlocutory application is filed seeking the Court to amend the name of the trial Court in the order that is rendered by this Court in Criminal Petition No.9863 of 2022, dated 09.11.2022.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that through the said order, the proceedings were quashed against the petitioners who are arrayed as accused Nos.3 and 4 in S.C.No.61 of 2022 that was pending before the Court of I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Nalgonda. Learned counsel states that subsequently, due to bifurcation of Districts, the case is now pending before the Special Court for trial of cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, Suryapet and therefore, the name of the Court may be altered in the aforesaid order.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor also states that at present, the said Sessions Case is pending before the Court of I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Suryapet.

Having considered the submissions thus made, this Court is of the view that the request of Contd...,

Contd..., the petitioners can be honoured.

Resultantly, the present interlocutory application is allowed.

Registry to carry out necessary amendment i.e., substitute the Court of "I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Nalgonda" with the "Special Court for trial of cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act-cum-Court of I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Suryapet"

wherever such modification is required.
