Petitioners are occupiers of Nagarjuna Sagar Project Camp Colony residential quarters. They are either retired employees or relatives of retired employees. Even though they have retired from service, they are squatting on the properties and have not vacated.

On 03.12.2014 in W.P.No.19124 of 2011 this Court first directed the persons in occupation to vacate said quarters subject to the State Government conducting an enquiry and considering preferential allotment at a later point of time. 3.

It is not in dispute that said committees have been constituted.

Petitioners claim right to continue in the said quarters on the ground that they have not been individually given notices and steps for eviction have not been taken, though newspaper item dt.28.07.2018 has been published in Sakshi Daily News paper giving 15 days time to the petitioners to evict the premises.

Prima facie, the petitioners, who are either retired employees or relatives of retired employees, have no right to squat in the said quarters after retiring from service.

Therefore, subject to the petitioners filing an undertaking before the 6th respondent that they shall voluntarily vacate the quarters in their occupation within one

(01) month from today, the respondents shall permit them to continue for the said period; and thereafter, if they do not vacate, they shall be evicted by the respondents. However, the claims of the petitioners/retired employees shall also be considered for allotment as per order dt.03.12.2014 in W.P.No.19124 of 2011, if not already considered. 7.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
