THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CONTEMPT CASE No.816 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 seeking to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of order, dated 04.01.2017, in W.P.No.231 of 2017 of this Court.

It is evident from the order, dated 04.01.2017, in W.P.No.231 of 2017 that this Court directed the respondent herein to complete the investigation in F.I.R.No.96 of 2016 and file the charge sheet as expeditiously as possible. Learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner was already examined by the respondent. Learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondent informed that the respondent is proceeding with the investigation and he will file a final report on completion of the investigation.

Recording the submission of the learned Government Pleader for Home, this Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Contempt Case shall stand closed.
