HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR AND HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.17640 of 2016 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) The prayer of the petitioners in this case is as under: "It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the Respondent No.1 for disbanding the Second Respondent Court and in not taking effective and speedy measures for disposal of the LGC No.37 of 2009 on the file of Second Respondent Court as illegal, improper, arbitrary, unreasonable and violative of principles of natural justice and consequentially direct the Respondent No.1 to take immediate steps to either make the Second Respondent Court functional or to transfer the LGC No.

37 of 2009 to the concerned Court of Principal District Judge, R.R.District, L.B.Nagar for expeditious disposal of LGC No.37 of 2009 and pass such other order or orders as deemed fit and proper by this Hon'ble Court in the interest of justice. Sri G.Ravi Chandran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, however, placed before us a copy of G.O.Ms.No.113, Revenue (Land Matters) Department, dated 01.06.2016, issued by the Government of Telangana, in exercise of powers under Section 101 of the A.P.Reorganization Act, 2014, repealing the A.P.Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act, 1982, insofar as it applies to the State of Telangana. In the light of the aforestated development, the prayer of the petitioners, as couched above, cannot be considered on merits.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed leaving it open to the petitioners to seek redressal of their grievance, if any, in accordance with law, duly taking note of the aforestated development. Consequently, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No costs.
