THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.2022 of 2017 O R D E R:
The Standing Counsel for Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board, Hyderabad appearing for 2nd respondent has filed a copy of the Memorandum in Rc.No.45/R&T/Admn.4/201719, dt.14.04.2019 stating that the order dt.11.07.2017 in WP.No.6742 of 2017, which was confirmed in Writ Appeal and by the Supreme Court, has been complied with and the petitioner was provisionally selected to the post of SCT PC(AR) in Hyderabad City in BC-D Category, and that he would be sent for training in the next batch subject to verification of his antecedents, certificates and medical fitness.

Though there is some delay in complying with the said order, having regard to the reasons given in the counter affidavit filed by the 2nd respondent and the Memorandum filed by the present Chairman of the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board, Hyderabad and the Memorandum dt.14.04.2019 referred to supra, I do not see any reason to punish the respondents for contempt.

Accordingly, this Contempt Case is closed granting liberty to the petitioner to revive the Contempt Case in case the promise made in the Memorandum dt.14.04.2019 is not complied with by the respondents. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
