THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.1461 OF 2011 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the proceedings issued by the 1st respondent, dated 30-06-2010 rejecting the request of the petitioner for grant of prior clearance for establishing Bar & Restaurant.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that an appeal was filed against the said order of the 1st respondent and the same is pending. In view of subsequent developments of bifurcation of State and change in policy guidelines, the cause of action in the present writ petition does not survive. However, it is open to the petitioner to make a fresh application in accordance with law, if he so chooses.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
