Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing for the respondents.
2. The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that the stay petition filed by the petitioner in an appeal filed on 31.07.2015 before the 2nd respondent challenging the order dt.05.07.2015 in Rc.No.2769/2014(CS) of the 3rd respondent has not been disposed of by the 2nd respondent even though more than three months have elapsed since the filing of the appeal and stay petition.
3. The learned Government Pleader states that the 2nd respondent will dispose of the stay petition within two (02) weeks and will also decide the appeal expeditiously.
4. Having regard to the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to decide the stay petition filed by the petitioner in the appeal filed before him on 31.07.2015 within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and he shall also dispose of the said appeal within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
5. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
