THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.1245 of 2008 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner in this case was that the Child Development Project Officer, ICDS Project, Salur (Rural), Vizianagaram District, the 1st respondent did not issue an appointment letter to her despite her selection as the Anganwadi worker of Mamidipalli-III, Salur (Rural), Vizianagaram District as per the selection list dated 15.12.2007.

By interim order dated 25.01.2008, this Court directed the respondents to issue an appointment order to the petitioner and permit her to join as Anganwadi worker at Mamidipalli-III, Anganwadi Centre, Salur (Rural), Vizianagaram if others who were selected in the select list were already appointed.

It is now stated by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare that the petitioner was issued an appointment order and that she is presently working.

In the light of the afore-stated development, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and no further orders are required to be passed in the matter. The writ petition is accordingly closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
