HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 19663 of 2016 Order:

The petitioner joined the first respondent-Corporation as Accountant Grade-II on 19.08.2011. He completed the probation period in August 2014 and he was discharging his duties in the Civil Supplies Godown, MLS Point, Huzur Nagar. There were some allegations with regard to his discharge of duties and the petitioner was placed under suspension by proceedings dated 05.03.2016. Challenging the said proceedings, the present Writ Petition is filed on the ground that he belongs to Scheduled Tribe Community and when his case was under active consideration for further promotion a false case was foisted against him.

2. Since the order of suspension has been operating from 05.03.2016 and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that enquiry is pending, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the order of suspension. However, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to complete the enquiry as expeditiously as possible and take necessary action within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. However, in the circumstances, no costs.

4. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
