Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. These Writ Petitions are filed challenging the action of the respondents in proposing to lay transmission lines through the petitioners' lands situated at SPSR Nellore District. Respondents filed a counter affidavit stating that they are erecting transmission lines as per law and, if any, compensation is due and payable to the petitioners, they would pay the same in accordance with law.

In view of the statement made by the respondents in their counter affidavit, the Writ Petitions are disposed of directing the respondents to pay compensation to the petitioners, in accordance with law, within a period of ninety days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
