THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.746 of 2017 ORDER:

This contempt case was instituted alleging wilful disobedience to the order dated 28.04.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.No.15079 of 2016. The grievance of the petitioner therein was that his complaint dated 27.03.2016 was not being acted upon by the police authorities. This Court disposed of the writ petition reiterating the directions of the Supreme Court in LALI TA KUMARI V/ s. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH1.

It is now stated by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home that FIR No.116 of 2017 was registered on the file of the Lalapet Police Station, Guntur Urban, on 29.04.2017 basing on the complaint of the petitioner.

In that view of the matter, the order passed by this Court stands duly complied with.
