THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6295 OF 2016 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, by the petitioner/accused seeking to direct the II Additional Junior Civil Judge - cum - XIX Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally at Miyapur, Cyberabad to complete the trial in C.C.No.360 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible i.e., within a period of three months.
2. Heard and perused the material available on record.
3. The offences alleged against the petitioner are punishable under Sections 498-A and 323 I.P.C.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the sole accused in the case and due to the pendency of the case, he lost his job and hence, he prays to give a direction to the trial Court to complete the trial and dispose of the case within a period of three months.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the trial Court is directed to dispose of C.C.No.360 of 2015 as early as possible preferably, within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
7. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this
Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
