HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.7694 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/A.2 to A.6 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No.261/2013 of WPS South Zone, Hyderabad, which was registered against them for the offences under Sections 420, 498-A and Sections 4 & 6 of D.P. Act.

2) When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 08.02.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, WPS South Zone, Hyderabad and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 13.04.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.261 of 2013 of WPS South Zone, Hyderabad, has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

3) There is no representation for petitioners.

4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
