The case of the petitioner is that he made representation to the 3rd respondent on 27-09-2017 for compassionate appointment claiming to be the adopted son of one Kakarlamudi Nagendramma who while working as attender in 3rd respondent-College passed away on 23-05-2017. As the said representation is not being disposed of, the present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services submits that the petitioner is only adopted son and necessary documents have been filed in proof of the same.
It is to be seen that when a representation is pending before the competent authority, it is for the competent authority to consider the said aspect and take action accordingly. In view of the same, the competent authority is directed to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner in accordance with law.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
