HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.36495 of 2016 ORDER:
The present writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to investigate into Crime No.24 of 2016 and file a final report.
The main grievance of the petitioner is that the complaint filed by him before the 2nd respondent against the unofficial respondents, who tried to dispossess him from the possession of his land. But the police did not choose to conduct investigation.
Heard and perused the material available on record. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, respondents Nos.2 and 3 are directed to conduct investigation in the above crime, complete the same and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
