In this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., the petitioner-accused seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 237 of 2013 on the file of the Court of Judicial I Class Magistrate at Gadwal, registered for the offence punishable under Section 353 of IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced the letter dated 09-07-2018 of Sub Inspector of Police, Gadwal Town Police Station, Jogulamba Gadwal District, and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 09-03-2018 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 237 of 2013, has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed. 3.
In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
