THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE M.GANGA RAO WRI T PETI TI ON NO.6815 OF 2017 ORDER: (per SK,J) This writ petition was filed seeking implementation of the order dated 26.04.2016 passed by the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad, in O.A.No.5160 of 2015 filed by the petitioner herein. By the said order, the Tribunal observed that as the petitioner was unauthorisedly absent from duty on health grounds, his case might be reconsidered by the authorities for transfer to Hanamkonda, Warangal, if there was an existing vacancy and directed the authorities to pass appropriate orders in that regard.

We are now informed by the learned Government Pleader for Services-I, State of Telangana, that pursuant to the aforestated direction of the Tribunal, the Regional Joint Director of Intermediate Education, Warangal, issued proceedings in Rc.No.936/C1/2014 dated 13.11.2017 rejecting the request of the petitioner to be accommodated at Hanamkonda, Warangal stating that as and when the ban on transfers was lifted, the application of the petitioner would be considered according to rules.

In the light of this development, the cause in this writ petition no longer survives as the order passed by the Tribunal has been acted upon. In the event the petitioner is aggrieved by the aforestated proceedings dated 13.11.2017, he is entitled to seek redressal of such grievance before the appropriate forum in accordance with law.

Subject to this observation, the writ petition is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
