THE HONOURABLE MR JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.2153 of 2015

ORDER

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Mines and Geology.

2. Petitioner herein made an application for grant of Minor Dealer License for storing and selling of sand in Sy.No.391/1 of Alamuru Village and Mandal, East Godavari District. The said application dated 17.01.2014, was however rejected by the Primary Authority and the appeal against that rejection filed on 13.03.2014 was dismissed on 22.10.2014. Against the said order, the petitioner preferred a revision on 26.11.2014 before the first respondent and the same is pending. The present writ petition is, therefore, filed to declare the action of first respondent in not disposing of the said revision, as arbitrary and illegal.

3. Learned Government Pleader for Mines and Geology states that the revision of the petitioner would be taken and disposed of expeditiously.

4. In view of that, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the first respondent to consider the revision filed by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, preferably, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
