HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.32382 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of respondent No. 3 in considering the representations of the petitioner dated 27.08.2016 and 10.09.2016 as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard Sri Kowturu Pavan Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies for respondent Nos.1 to 4.

A perusal of the record reveals that petitioner's husband, late R.Laxmaiah, was issued licence under the Andhra Pradesh Petroleum Products (Licensing and Regulation of Supplies) Order, 1980, in the year 2001. The licence was renewed from time to time in favour of the petitioner's husband upto 31.12.2017. The petitioner's husband died on 11.05.2016. The petitioner submitted representations dated 27.08.2016 and 10.09.2016 to respondent No. 3 for appointment as Kerosene Hawker on compassionate grounds. However, no orders have been passed on the representations of the petitioner. The only relief sought for by the petitioner is to direct respondent No.3 to consider her representations dated

27.08.2016 and 10.09.2016 and pass appropriate orders thereon.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, respondent No.3 is hereby directed to dispose of the representations dated 27.08.2016 and 10.09.2016, submitted by the petitioner, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.2, dated 28.02.2014, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
