THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Criminal Petition No.2447 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash proceedings initiated against the petitioners/A-2 to A-6 in C.C.No.709 of 2016 pending on the file of I Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Warangal, arising out of Crime No.71 of 2015 of Warangal Urban Police Station, Warangal, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498 A and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners/A-2 to A-6 and the learned Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record.

After arguing for sometime, the learned counsel for the petitioners, while not pressing for the main prayer, confined his argument only to the extent of dispensing with the presence of the petitioners before the trial Court.

In any event, considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also in view of the nature of the offences alleged, the presence of the petitioners/A-2 to A-6 before the trial Court is dispensed with except on the dates when their presence is essentially required by the Court and the petitioners shall be properly represented by his counsel.

With the above observation, this criminal petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
