CVNR,J & GSP,J W.P.No.29420 of 2018 Dt: 12.09.2018 Order: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for issue of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents- Police to produce the petitioner's daughter- K.Sanjana (for short 'the detenue') before the Court and set her at liberty.

Today, the Police have produced the alleged detenue before the Court.

Our interaction with the alleged detenue revealed that though she is unwilling to live with her husband, the petitioner is forcing her to join the company of her husband; and that therefore, she is voluntarily residing in a hostel and eking out her own livelihood. Though we have permitted the alleged detenue to interact with the petitioner for some time, even thereafter, the alleged detenue stuck to her stand and insisted that she would like to live on her own.
