The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus to declare the inaction of the respondents No.4 to 6 in conducting survey to the schedule property, i.e., Sy.No. 148, where the plot No.6, admeasuring 266.66 sq.yards, plot no.4 and 11, admeasuring 534 sq.yards, plot no.4, plot no.5 and 12, admeasuring 534 sq.yards in Sy.No.148 situated at Cheeryal Village, Keesara Mandal, Medchal-Malkajagri district, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional, and consequently, direct the respondents 4 to 6 to consider the application of the petitioner dated 16.04.2018 to conduct survey to the schedule property. 2.
The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, states that the request of the petitioner for demarcation of land in Survey No. 148 of Cheeryal Village, Keesara Mandal was entrusted to the Mandal Surveyor/ Village Revenue Officer, Cheeryal Village, who, in turn, reported that as per the revenue records, the land in Survey No.148, admeasuring Ac.13-12 gunts is classified as 'patta land', and on physical inspection of the land, it is found that some part is covered by plotting area and some part is vested with the pattadars by way of compound wall and mango garden. It is further
stated that once land is converted into non-agricultural land, the office of the Tahsildar does not hold any record of the plotted area, and hence, its demarcation cannot be carried out. It is stated by the learned Government Pleader that an endorsement was also made on the representation made by the petitioner on 18.08.2018, which would be communicated to the petitioner shortly.

Recording the above, the present writ petition is dismissed at the admission stage. However, the respondent authorities are directed to communicate a copy of the endorsement made by them on the representation dated 18.08.2018 of the petitioner, as early as possible, preferably, within a period of two weeks from today, enabling him to avail remedy, if any, available under law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
