On 10-08-2015, when the matter was called on for hearing, there was no representation for the petitioner, as such, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption "for Dismissal". Even today also, when the matter is called on for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner even though the matter was listed under the caption "for dismissal". It indicates that the petitioner is not diligent in pursuing the matter effectively. This Court is left with no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for default. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
