THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.4390 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue. With consent of both the counsel, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus to declare the inaction of the 2nd respondent in taking steps to rectify the wrong entries made in the revenue records in respect of the lands in Sy.No.264/1/53/A admeasuring Ac.7.33 Gts., situated at Karukonda Revenue Village, Kothagudem Mandal, Khammam District, in spite of submitting the representation dated 23.01.2016 followed by repeated visits, as illegal and arbitrary, consequently, to direct the respondents to rectify the wrong entries and to issue pattadar pass books and title deeds to the petitioner.

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 23.01.2016 made by the petitioner for rectification of wrong entries in the reports and dispose of the same at the earliest.

4. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue opposes the same stating that no relief can be granted to the petitioner since he is seeking correction of the entries made in the year 2010. He further submits that the relief sought for by the petitioner is as vague as anything.

Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the submissions made by both the counsel, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to dispose of the representation, if any, made by the petitioner seeking rectification of entries in respect of lands in Sy.No.264/1/53/A admeasuring Ac.7.33 Gts., situated at Karukonda Revenue Village, Kothagudem Mandal, Khammam District, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
