THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.22163 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of respondents in not paying compensation to the petitioner pursuant to the Award Notice, dated 23.09.2015, issued by respondent No.2, as illegal and arbitrary.

The case of the petitioner is that Award Notice, dated 23.09.2015, was issued under Section 37 (2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, informing her to submit relevant documents for establishing her right in respect of the subject land and for depositing the compensation amount into the Bank account and pursuant to the same, she submitted the necessary documents, but as on today, no action is taken. Aggrieved by the same, the present Writ Petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Irrigation.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, respondent No.2 is directed to take appropriate action for payment of compensation to the petitioner in accordance

with law pursuant to the notice, dated 23.09.2015, since it is stated that the petitioner has already submitted necessary documents.

Subject to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed. No costs.
