Heard both sides. With the consent of both parties the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the first respondent in interfering with the matrimonial disputes pending between the petitioner and fifth respondent in respect of O.P.No.831 of 2016 on the file of XIV Additional District Judge, Vijayawada, frequently summoning the petitioner to the first respondent office and threatening him with dire consequences, as illegal and arbitrary.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner mainly submits that without any crime being registered and without following due process of law, the respondents-police are interfering with the personal life and liberty of the petitioner. 4.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that pursuant to a report given by the respondents, a case in Crime No.251 of 2017 was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 324, 448, 449, 506 and Section 120-B read with Section 34 of IPC. Probably respondents-police might have called the petitioner while investigating the said crime.

Without going into merits of the case and having regard to the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents-police not to interfere with the disputes between the

parties, except in accordance with law and if any crime is registered, police are always at liberty to take action by following due process of law. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
