Heard learned counsel for the petitioners - accused Nos.1 to 5 of C.C.No.392 of 2015 on the file of V Additional Junior Civil Judge, Guntur, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, and perused the grounds urged in the quash petition and Charge Sheet.

2. Both parties present and stated that they settled the matter amicably outside the Court and vide Crl.P.MP.Nos.7684 and 7685 of 2017 sought permission to compound the offences and prayed to record compromise and quash the proceedings.

3. Accordingly, permission is granted to compound the offences.

4. In the result, Crl.P.MP.Nos.7684 and 7685 of 2017 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.392 of 2015 on the file of V Additional Junior Civil Judge, Guntur, against the petitioners-accused Nos.1 to 5. The petitioners - accused No.1 to 5 are acquitted and their bail bonds, if any, shall stand cancelled.
