THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.5173 of 2010 ORDER:

This Writ Petition was filed challenging the inaction of respondent Nos.1 and 2 in taking steps to protect the petitioners and their family members from the harassment meted out by respondent Nos.3 and 4 in spite of their representation dated 10.02.2010. Though the learned Government Pleader took time on 26.03.2010 for filing counter affidavit on the basis of the instructions, no counter affidavit is filed till today.

This Court, by order dated 23.04.2010, directed respondent No.3 not to interfere with the life and personal liberty of the petitioners otherwise than by due process of law while dealing with them in connection with the pending criminal cases.

In view of the aforesaid interim order, making the said interim order as a final order, this Writ Petition is closed. However, it is open to the petitioners to approach the competent Court in case of any harassment in spite of this order. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
