Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue (Telangana).

With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.3 in failing to consider the application made by the petitioner on 17.01.2017 in Form VI (A) of ROR Act for mutation of his name in revenue records, in respect of land in Survey No.296, admeasuring Acs.3.35 guntas situated at Gambhirpur village, Kathalapur Mandal, Jagtial District, as illegal and arbitrary.

The averments in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition would show that an application came to be made in the month of January, 2017. As there was delay in disposal of the application, a representation dated 04.07.2018, came to be made by the petitioner, to speed up the said application, but the said mutation application is still pending consideration. 5.

Learned Government Pleader would submit that after the new scheme, entries in the revenue records were changed basing on the survey conducted. Hence, it would be appropriate if the

petitioner makes a fresh application under Form VI (A) of ROR Act, in which event the same shall be dealt with in accordance with law.

In view of the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to make a fresh application under Form VI (A) of ROR Act, in which event, the concerned authorities shall consider the same, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of two to three months from the date of receipt of the application.
