Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleaders for Transport, Home and Revenue.

Petitioner complains against seizing tractor and trailer bearing No.AP03 TA 5450 and AP03 TA 5451 as illegal and unconstitutional and seeks release of the vehicle.

Learned Government Pleaders, on instructions, submit that though the seized vehicle is handed over to the revenue authorities, the vehicle is kept in the safe custody of the fifth respondent and submit that the petitioner can represent to the authorities in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.42 dated 29.03.2016. 4.

Since policy decision is taken in G.O.Ms.No.42 dated 29.03.2016 for release of vehicle, liberty is granted to petitioner to represent to the concerned authority within three (3) days from today.

The respondents shall consider the representation and pass orders releasing the vehicle.

The writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
