THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.42988 of 2015 ORDER :
The petitioner is seeking appointment as a Fair Price Shop Dealer on compassionate grounds in the place of his deceased father, Pydinaidu, who died on 27.01.2013. Petitioner had made applications on 10.12.2014, 12.08.2015 and 07.12.2015 to the 2nd respondent for consideration of his case on compassionate grounds as fair price shop dealer in terms of G.O.Ms.No.4 Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies (CS-I) Department dated 28.02.2014.

The petitioner contends that in spite of the fact that the said applications were received by the 2nd respondent and the 3rd respondent on 23.05.2015 has also submitted report to the 2nd respondent recommending petitioner's case for consideration, no further steps have been taken in the matter by the respondents.

Learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing for the respondents states that the respondents would consider and dispose of the petitioner's application for appointment on compassionate grounds as Fair Price Shop Dealer in terms of the G.O. referred to above within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dt.10.12.2014, 12.08.2015 and 07.12.2015 for appointment on compassionate grounds as Fair Price Shop Dealer for shop No.32 in Nelivada Village, Ranasthalam Mandal, Srikakulam District within one
(1) month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
5. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall
stand dismissed.
