HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.21715 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the action of the 3rd respondent in not taking any suitable action on the representations made by the petitioners against respondents 4 to 6 in passing the orders on 27.05.2016 dismissing the petitioners from service. The 3rd respondent is the Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Nellore. When the writ petition is pending, it appears that a joint meeting was fixed on 20.07.2016, where the 4th respondent failed to appear. When it was adjourned to 29.07.2016, on that date also, the 4th respondent failed to appear. In the circumstances, the 3rd respondent passed an order on 29.07.2016 advising the petitioners to approach the Labour Court/Industrial Tribunal under Section 2 (a) of the I.D. Act 1947 challenging the order of dismissal from service.

In view of the same, no relief can be granted in the present writ petition. However, it is open to the petitioners to take appropriate legal steps in accordance with law. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. ______________________________ A.
