ORDER
This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioners/A1 to A5 and A7 to A9 seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.140 of 2015 of Kurnool I Town Police Station, Kurnool District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 448, 354, 323, 506, 509 read with Section 34 IPC, against them.
2. It is alleged in the complaint that due to the dispute occurred on 14.12.2015 while collecting water from the municipal tap, all the accused trespassed into the house of the complainant, dragged the wife of the complainant holding her hair, beat her with hands and legs indiscriminately and threatened her to vacate the street and on 15.12.2015 also, all the accused beat the complainant with hands and legs and stabbed him with a knife, which is used for sewing chappals, on his nose causing bleeding injury. Based on the said complaint, the aforesaid crime was registered against the accused.
3. Heard and perused the material on record.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are ready and willing to cooperate with the investigation.
5. Truth or otherwise of the allegations made in the complaint cannot be decided at this stage. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. Though the incident occurred in the year 2015, the respondents have not taken
any steps to arrest the petitioners. However, in view of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the concerned police are directed to complete the investigation without arresting the petitioners/ A1 to A5 and A7 to A9 and file a final report, if any.
6. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
