HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 15237 OF 2012 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in seizing the tractor and trailer bearing No. AP 35 V 8730 & AP 35 U 4468 of the petitioner. By an order dated 16.05.2012, this Court passed the following interim order: "Notice before admission.
The vehicle of the petitioner has been seized on the ground that it was carrying sand without authority. The petitioner contends that he has nothing to do with the goods carried in the vehicle, and seeks for the return of the vehicle. Pending disposal of the writ petition, the respondents shall consider the case of the petitioner for release of the seized vehicle, by following the due process of law, including A.P.Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1966, and by imposing penalty, if necessary.
Post after Summer Vacation, 2012".
It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in view of the said interim orders, the vehicle has been released. Hence, the writ petition is disposed of making the interim order dated 16.05.2012 as a final order. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, filed in this writ petition shall stand closed.
