THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE M.GANGA RAO WRI T PETI TI ON No.29606 OF 2018 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) The petitioner is the applicant in O.A.No.609 of 2018 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad. His prayer therein was to direct the respondent authorities to pass appropriate orders on his representation dated 15.02.2017 made in connection with his seniority in the cadre of Executive Officer in different grades. By order dated 04.07.2018, the Tribunal opined that as the matter was under active consideration, the petitioner-applicant could not seek a direction to hustle the authorities on the issue and accordingly dismissed the O.A. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner-applicant is before this Court.

Perusal of the record reflects that the representation made by the petitioner dates back to February, 2017, and the Deputy Commissioner of Endowments, Kakinada, sent his report in connection therewith to the Commissioner of Endowments, Andhra Pradesh, on 06.10.2017. There is no indication of any further steps being taken thereafter. As the petitioner is seeking an innocuous order directing the authorities to bestow consideration upon his representation, we are of the opinion that this writ petition need not be kept pending for adjudication. Learned Government Pleader for Services, State of Andhra Pradesh, is also agreeable to the disposal of the writ petition at this stage. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the respondent authorities to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.02.

its own merits and in accordance with law expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
