THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.4482 OF 2017 ORDER :

Heard. With the consent of both counsel, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The grievance of the petitioner is that presently he is working as reader in Geology in VRS & YRN College, Chirala. According to the petitioner his parent organization is VSR & NVR College-4th respondent and is eligible for promotion in the said college. Petitioner submitted several representations for consideration of his entitlement for promotion and the same are not disposed of and he is not granted promotion.

Since petitioner has set up a claim for consideration of promotion and the same is yet to be considered by the competent authority and that a decision is to be taken, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition at this stage, but to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents 4 and 5 to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner on 03.11.2016, further reminders on 24.11.2016 and 23.12.2016, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
