HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI I.A.No.1 of 2019 In/and CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No. 1982 of 2015 ORDER:

1) The petitioners/accused filed this Criminal Revision Case under Sections 397 and 401 Cr.P.C. to set aside the judgment dated 04.05.2013 in C.C.No.275 of 2009 passed by the XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, for the offence punishable under Section 498-A IPC, which was confirmed by judgment dated 10.09.2015 in Crl.A.No.454 of 2013 by the V Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge (Mahila Court), Hyderabad.

2) During pendency of the Criminal Revision Case, I.A.No.1 of 2019 came to be filed by the de facto complainant to record the compromise by compounding the offence punishable under Section 498-A IPC. Along with the petition, a joint memo which is signed by the parties and their counsel came to be filed, inter alia stating that at the intervention of elders and well wishers, the parties have settled their disputes in terms of the compromise. The said joint memo has been supported by the Memorandum of Understandingcum-Compromise and affidavit of the 2nd respondent. 3) Today, both the parties are present before this Court and they were identified by their respective counsel. This Court, when examined, both the parties have stated that at the instance of the elders, they have settled the matter out of the Court and the second respondent has no objection for quashing the proceedings against the petitioners.

4) In the light of the compromise arrived at between the parties, the compromise memo filed by both the parties is recorded and I.A.No.1 of 2019 is ordered.

5) Accordingly, the Criminal Revision Case is allowed in terms of compromise, and the proceedings in C.C.No.275 of 2009 on the file of the XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, against the petitioners are hereby set aside and the petitioners are acquitted. Bail bonds, if any, shall stands cancelled. 6) Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed. ________________ JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI 23.08.2019 kvrm
