Mandala Uppaiah PETITIONER And

1. The State of Telangana, rep. by its Principal Secretary, Home Department, Secretariat Buildings, Hyderabad, and others. RESPONSENTS

VRS,J & GSP,J.

W.P.No.35605/2016 WRI T PETI TI ON No.35605 of 2016 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice V. Ramasubramanian) The petitioner was not selected to the post of police constable on the ground that he was not of the prescribed height. His application challenging his non-selection having been dismissed by the Tribunal, he is before us.

Heard Mr. N. Ramesh, learned counsel for the petitioner. As rightly pointed out by the Tribunal, the petitioner was referred for re-physical measurement on 18.07.2016.

The re-physical measurement appears to have happened on 25.07.2016. In the absence of the petitioner coming up with a positive statement that his height measured up to the level, the Tribunal was not able to grant any relief. The order of the Tribunal does not fall for any interference. Hence the writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
