THE HONOURABLE DR. JUSTICE D.NAGARJUN CRIMINAL PETITION No.8815 of 2018 O R D E R:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashment of proceedings in C.C.No.576 of 2015 on the file of the learned XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, registered for the offences under Sections 498-A and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, against the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 3. 02.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State has submitted a copy of Letter dated 04.01.2023 addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Bhavaninagar Police Station, Hyderabad City, stating that C.C.No.576 of 2015 ended in acquittal on 10.07.2019.

The same is recorded.

In view of the above submission, since the very purpose of filing this Criminal Petition is already been

defeated, no purpose would survive to proceed with this Criminal Petition and the same has become infructuous. 06.

In view of the above, this Criminal Petition is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There is no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications in this matter, if any, shall stand closed.
