The grievance of the petitioner is that he filed appeal along with stay petition before the 2nd respondent against impugned proceedings dated 19-09-2016, whereby authorization of fair-price shop of the petitioner has been cancelled. As no orders are passed, the present writ petition is filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though explanation is submitted by the petitioner explaining variations, without considering the same, the impugned proceedings were issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer canceling the fair-price shop authorization of the petitioner.

Heard learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies.

In view of above facts and circumstances, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, there shall be stay of impugned proceedings.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition,

miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
