This criminal petition is filed for quash of the proceedings in Cr.No.109 of 2013, against the petitioner, who is A3, on the file of the Station House Officer, Karepalli Police Station, Khammam District. The offences alleged are under Sections 7(a) read 8(e) of the A.P. Prohibition Act and Section 34(e) of the A.P. Excise Act. 2.

The learned Public Prosecutor has produced a letter addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Karepally Police Station, Khammam District dated 06.09.2018 stating that the investigation is completed and charge sheet is filed before the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Yellandu in CC.No.336 of 2017.

In the light of the above, the criminal petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a discharge petition before the Court below raising all contentions as raised in this petition.
